LinksPosted by Dan Meyers (Bloomington, United States) on 27 March 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Well this is the one! This is my favorite shot from the entire trip to Metairie/New Orleans. I still have plenty of images to post from New Orleans and plan to do so but thought I would jump ahead to this one since it's my favorite. No editing was done, just macro that focused really well. This was taken on our day off (Wednesday 3-7-07) along the railroad/trolley tracks behind the French Market near the Governor Nicholls Street Wharf. This was also along the water where two Navy ships were anchored in the distance in opposite directions from one another. I know the description is...well descriptive and odd but I do have photos to show at a later date that include the ships and the Great New Orleans bridge in the distance to the west.
