French Market PlacePosted by Dan Meyers (Bloomington, United States) on 24 March 2007 in Cityscape & Urban. Home in the French Quarter area of New Orleans. A lot of history here, most of which I don't know off hand. I do know that the French Quarter is home to the French Market, Cafe Du Mond, Bourbon Street, and Andrew Jackson apparently. There was the Andrew Jackson Hotel and a park for him. President Andrew Jackson is also a distant cousin of mine. Romans 8:1-2; Ephesians 2:8-10
