Back to the family's home and bbq. Here my buddy Jeff is tearing up the baby grand with his rendition of "Amazing Grace". The only hymn he knows how to play on piano. The homeowner, Pat, asked us to play something because her kids had long moved out and she missed hearing the piano play in the house. Jeff played "amazing grace" and I played the beginning of "lean on me" and some excerpts from what I'm playing in Steeldrum band. I think that made her night.

Go Army! I love the sound of a piano playing too =) You're both champions for making her night =D
There's a library down in the city that has a piano you can book and every other day there's this lovely old lady who comes into play around 3pm and she plays some of the most beautiful pieces =) Its just amazing what music does to your soul =D Thanks for sharing this Dan =D
